Okay, I'm desperate. I've talked to Netscape and they haven't been a whole lot
of help. We're running Netscape Enterprise server (2.0c and 3.5.1 and Netscape
Directory server (3.11) and have tried to use the directory server gateway
feature. If I try to connect through the gateway using Netscape 4.05, it works
fine and you get a fancy frames document. However, using Netscape 3.0 (UNIX or
PC) or IE 4.0, you get a window full of question marks. If you don't believe
me, go to
http://www.dickinson.edu/dshtml and see for yourself. When I spoke to
Netscape, the technician was shocked when he saw it and couldn't duplicate it on
the platforms he was using. I'm using the latest version of Directory Server
and Enterprise so it's not a compatibility thing. So far it looks like the
binaries used by the directory server gateway but that doesn't help me to
resolve the problem. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.
