I have a Sony SMO-F521 driver installed in a Compaq ProSignia running
NT4.0. Every time I try to read or write in a 1.2GB/512 bytes/sector
optical disk, everything goes fine. However, when I try to read/write in
a 2.6GB/1024 bytes/sector I get the message “Data error (cyclic
redundancy check)” and the error “Incorrect function” when reading a
1.3GB/1024 bytes/sector.
How SMO-F521 can read 2.6GB and 1.3GB optical disks?
Thanks,
Joao
