Hi,
We are looking at replacing some of our RZ29B-VA (4.3GB) disks on our
AS8400 with the RZ1DF-VA (9.1GB) disks. One of my co-workers has indicated
that the wide version of the 9.1GB drives requires the 180W storage works
power bricks, but doesn't know about the narrow version.
1. Do the RZ1DF-VA require the 180W bricks? The shelf will contain three
RZ1DF-VA disks, three RZ29B-VA disks, and a DWZB (FWD to NSE SCSI
converter.)
2. If this configuration does require the 180W bricks, does anybody know
the part number for the AS8400 internal version of the brick (they
have a small modular power connector rather than the normal 3 prong).
The part number for the 150W unit is BA35X-HB.
BTW - The shelf is an older model BA35X unit.
I've got hardware support looking into the matter but figured that one
of you might already know the answer.
Thanks,
Tom
