We have just had some hardware problems (non disk related) with an
Alphaserver 1000 and now
we have an ADVFS file system that causes the computer to hang when it is
referenced. We are running V4.0A on an Alphaserver 1000.
The file domain is /usr and is on partition g of disk rz0. The root file
domain is on partition a and swap on partition b and they both work fine.
Other domains on other disks also work O.K.
Whenever I try to mount or even verify the file domain the computer hangs.
CTRL/C from in single-user mode doesn't even work, a reboot is required.
disklabel -r works fine.
advscan works fine too.
Any ideas?
