Solution - Reading DOS floppy disk

Thanks to all who responded to my query. The solution is that I do not need
to mount the floppy disk at all, just use mcopy / mread to transfer the
files straight from the floppy. Another method is to use ftp between the
Unix machines and a DOS machine.
