SUMMARY: root account locked

Thank´s those who responded my question:

   Kristin (Kris) Larsen
   Nestor Ruiz
   Ian Goodacre

   My problem was that root´s account was disabled because of many
unsuccesful logins.

   The problem was solved going single user and using edauth to make
the following changes in root´s authentication database:

    - remove u_numunsuclog
    - setting u_maxtries to u_maxtries#0

   It was also suggested to check that the field ulock_at_ exists.
