timing on DU

Hi, all.

I am planning to measure timing on peocessors in a network of DU4.0B
hosts. The hosts are coordinated by means of NTP.

Would you say that I by means of gettimeofday() can get a time value
that is accurate to one milisecond (I think, one milisecond is the clock
resolution) and comparable between the systems ?
