SUMMARY: userdel gives "Password entry corrupted"

PROBLEM:
When trying to delete an account under 4.0D (base security), "userdel" and
therefore also "removeuser" and "dxaccounts" give the error message
   userdel: Password entry is corrupted. Please repair the password file
   and then run Account Manager

SOLUTION (by Dave.Vaughan_at_digital.com):
Do you have patch kit 2 installed ?
This sounds like the problem caused by patch 0153.00
If this patch is installed, remove it and you should be all set.


I haven't yet tried it, since the dupatch utility requires
single-user mode. But I recently installed patch kit 2, so it looks like
the solution of my problem.
