DU 4.0b downgrade

Hi All

We recently purchased DEC Alpha 1000A's with DU 4.0d preloaded. In order to
keep integrated systems compatability, we downgraded the OS to DU 4.0b. The
OS downgrade went smooth with one exception, we are unable to find the
ethernet card in the 4.0b OS. The NIC's work fine under 4.0d and show up in
the hardware configuration list at the >>> prompt regardless of OS, but
won't sign onto the DU 4.0b OS.

Any suggestions?
