DEC3000 M300 serial console

  I have a DEC3000/M300 which has a serial terminal console attached.
Whenever it runs the power-on tests, it fails with the
SRM ? 60
error, and does not continue booting. It is using the serial console with
no problems. What do I need to do to make it realize there is no keyboard
and mouse, and continue booting without failing the SRM test?
