URGENT: _all_ reasons of ERANGE on semop (DU) ?

Hi all gurus !

 If someone has the source code of Digital UNIX 3.2 or 4.0,
 can you have a look at the semop system call implementation
 for telling me all the reasons the semop may have to fail with
 the ERANGE error code. I checked all sem UNDO-related system
 kernel parameters (and the semval value is less than the
 system-imposed limit), I do not see any reason of such a
 failure ...
