cdrecord YAMAHA software on OSF1

Does anyone out there have any experience with porting the cdrecord software
to an Alpha running OSFV4.0? Either that or has anyone attached a portable
CD writer with other software to create CD's??

I have the Yamaha CRW4260TX and trying to compile the cdrecord software, with
no luck sofar.
