Thanks for all the replies to my mail about
"can't open osf_boot "
message

disklabel with -t advfs helped

Still, it does not work.

* I have modified /etc/fdmns, so now it reflects the new disk layout.

* The /etc/swapdefault points to the proper (new) swap device

* /etc/fstab is accordingly modified

The system Does not boot however, probably close to the end of the
booting procedure I get:

panic (cpu0): fix_bfmeta_rec_redo: got bmt page N1
              instead of N2
              N1=0 N2=3020

syncing disk... done

DUMP: No primary swap, no explicit dumpdev
      Nowhere to put header, giving up.

Is there anything else what shoud be taken care of when moving the system to
another disk ?

Thanks for any further hints.

Marcin
