Dear managers,
A few month ago I had a problem with our Oracle installation, and some
nice sole on this list helped us out. He wrote the problem comes after
oracle 7.3, and suggested to truncate
$ORACLE_HOME/otrace/admin/process.dat, collect.dat, fdfdir.dat, and
regid.dat. That worked.
Now we have another problem which seems related/similar to the old one.
When several students at 1 time try to compile a simple PL/SQL script (to
create a simple and small table), the following message appears :
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 2048 bytes of shared memory
("POSITION_CATEGORY","PL/SQL DIANA","PAR.C:parrlc:page")
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
regards,
Hossein
