Hello all,

Does anyone know how to change the time zone on an Alpha 1200A running DEC Unix
4.0d. Current time zone is EDT I would like BST. I think I accepted the
defaults by mistake when I installed the system.

I've tried setting /etc/svid3_tz to contain :GB-Eire/ as on my two other alphas
and rebooting but to no avail, the file just seems to reset to :US/Eastern.

All my alphas synchronize using ntp including the offending machine.

Any ideas greatly accepted

Thanks
