Hi, I'm new and I'm not too sure if this question belong here
but please bare with me if you will.
Something happened to the Digital UNIX v4.0 alpha that I'm administrating
and now I can't login to CDE. It says "Terminal Disabled --see your
Systems Administrator" and when I am the administrator, it is very
embarrasing. (however, if I choose command line login from option, it
lets me in.)
I received a phone call from backup operator saying they are no longer
able to log in to the console. That was the first notice. And I'm guessing
they tried to login with wrong password and somehow the machine disabled
any console login into CDE.
(in fact their account was disabled, so couldn't even login from remote
site)
1. is my guess correct?
2. if not, what could cause it to display this error message? and what
should i do about this?
if so, how can I enable console login again?
Thank you all.
Bud
