Dear Gurus,
Some time ago, I had problems with my NCD X-tube: the DEL key (well,
the large key at the upper right corner of the main keyboard) erased
the *next* character within Netscape (and Netscape mail).
This was fixed thanks to John Deacon who suggested to add the following
lines in .Xdefaults:
*XmText.translations: #override \n\
Shift<Key>osfDelete: delete-next-character()\n\
<Key>osfDelete: delete-previous-character()\n
*XmTextField.translations: #override \n\
Shift<Key>osfDelete: delete-next-character()\n\
<Key>osfDelete: delete-previous-character()\n
Now, I have just installed WORDPERFECT on my 2100 server running
DU 4.0B ... and the very same problem appears again within Wordperfect.
I have also tried the solution suggested by John Clarke which is to set
the "Setup/Change user preferences/Compatibility" to "Be Compatible with
Old DECwindows Vendor String" in the NCD user service console, but to no
avail.
How can I fix this irritating "feature" ?
Thanks and cheers,
Jean-Loup
