This was an easy one. At least there is now an entry on the archives with
this subject, to avoid future lame questions like mine...

Of course it is possible:
Using mfs - memory file system
Steps:
* man mfs
* fstab: -s65536 /mount_point mfs rw 1 0
You can use the entry on fstab to create a new filesystem based on system's
RAM.
The number -s is 512k-blocks
Syntax:
/usr/sbin/mfs [-F mount-flags] [newfs-options] [special-device] mount-node
Like all RAM Drives, when the power goes off, the files are completly lost.
Use an UPS or a script to copy the most important data files to solid disk...
Some people also remark that reserving large amounts of memory could
decrease system performance due to an excess use of swap.
