Dear Group

When I invoke nwrecover, I get the above message.

Relevant to this problem no doubt is that our 8400 crashed a couple of
days ago after one of our RAID 5 Luns collapsed with a disk and controller
problem. No NSR files resided on this disk and, infact, the disk's data
was recovered without incident. Now however, nwrecover doesn't work and,
additionally, the backups don't work either.

When a backup is undertaken using the savegrp command the following nsr
log message is obtained:

Oct 14 11:30:44 rivendell syslog: * rivendell.davidjones.com.au:/usr 1
retry attempted
Oct 14 11:30:44 rivendell syslog: * rivendell.davidjones.com.au:/usr save:
SYSTEM error, No such file or directory
Oct 14 11:30:44 rivendell syslog: * rivendell.davidjones.com.au:/usr save:
Cannot open save session with rivendell.davidjones.com.au

and so on for /var, /opt etc.

I would really appreciate any pointers on this one.

Thanking you
