The repsonses included :
1. Using dxlsm
2. Using performance manager
3a. (iostat) Separate the arrays to use different target IDs. When you run
out of target IDs and have to use LUNs, specify all the LUNs
on the iostat command line. You can't tell them apart, but
it will collect and display each one.
3b. (monitor) Remove the -DNEXUS_LIST from the Monitor make file and recompile.
3c. Try collect. The same directory on gatekeeper.dec.com as Monitor
I think.
4. volstat -d
5.Try:
ftp://raven.alaska.edu/pub/sois/README.uaio
kit:
ftp://raven.alaska.edu/pub/sois/uaio-v2.1.tar.Z
There's a progrm in there, uaio, which is iostat rewritten and enhanced
to properly report raid devices, tally up io by bus, etc. Regards, Kurt
I went for 3b, the recompilation of monitor. This gave me what I wanted, thanks Alan.
