Hi,
I have a collegue who has managed to delete some important files from the
root file system, in particular, init it seems, and now his system will not
boot properly.
The whole system uses AdvFS, including root.
I speculate that one ought to be able to boot the distribution CD and mount
the root file system, but that one might have to create some directories in
/etc, like fdmns and fdmns/root_dmn and populate it with re0a -> re0a in
order to get at the root file system.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Regards
