Dear Managers,
the problem was not the box, the Wide-SCSI-Controller KZPBA-CA (=QLOGIC ISP1020) was the problem.
We run the program (on floppy) eeromcfg at arc-console on the machine and
changed the Entry: FIFO Threshold 3 ->2 in Edit EEROM HHost Adapter Para-
meters Screen.
Additional we enabled the FAST20-Option on this controller. After this the
controller and disks works fine, only one error message appears during boot:
isp0 at pci0 slot 8
isp0: QLOGIC ISP1040B/V2
isp0: Firmware revision 2.10 (loaded
_by console)
---- isp0: Failed to enable fast RAM
_timing.
scsi2 at isp0 slot 0
rz16 at scsi2 target 0 lun 0 (LID=10)
_(SEAGATE ST118273W 6244)
_(Wide16)
during boot the controller seems to be a ISP1040B/V2 but with:
>>>show config i see it is a ISP1020
