I have added an FDDI interface to the backup server and would like
to force the database servers to use that interface. What do I need
to change to make NSR happy?
The ethernet names (for example) are:
dbserver1 Database server
dbserver2 Database server
bkupsvr1 NSR backup server
Backup group dbservers
I disabled this group
The FDDI names are:
dbserver1f Database server
dbserver2f Database server
bkupsvr1f NSR backup server
Backup group dbservers_fddi
I changed /etc/hosts on dbserver1/2 to move the nsrserverhost
alias to the FDDI interface (also added alias nsrhost as well).
The res/servers file was changed to add the FDDI name for the
backup server. I noticed from logs that the savegroup command still
reflects the ethernet backup server name. I also modified the storage
node attribute for the client.
Anybody know the correct procedure for doing this?
