How Do I Get A Prom Prompt

Let me put in my two cents as well.

We have often been frustrated with the support bureaucracy at Compaq/DEC.
The paperwork with the suppport contracts and getting errors corrected is
often time consuming and frustrating.
HOWEVER
Once I get thru to somebody on the UNIX support team, I have nothing but
praise. Almost always, the first person that I get thru to will be able to
solve the problems. Every technician that I have talked to is both
professional in attitude and competent. The same descriptions apply to the
DEC/Compaq hardware support on our 4100 server.
HOWEVER
The kindest thing that I can say about DEC marketing is that it is chaotic
and inconsistent.
