HP Laserjet 4000N

Hi Managers,

i installed a HP Laserjet 4000N (default 2-sided). With lpr -K1 -Ppzim2 filename
i could change to 1-sided. I could print both: Ascii and postscript. From VMS
no problem: 1-sided,2-sided, Ascii/Postscript.

But:
other people, HP-Users for example, need a queue which is one-sided per default
because they are not able to send the lpr -K1 - Command through our Server.

I know, i need a queue-definition and a shell script to send the Command to set
the printer to 1-sided before the job, but COMPAQ/Digital is not able to tell
me this.

Does anyone have a shell script and a queue-example for this?
