I have just upgraded a 2100 4/275 from 3.2g to 4.0a en route to
4.0d. After rebuilding kernel, the boot fails with the following
error:
halt code 2
kernel stack not valid halt
PC = 14824
boot failure
I have seen a few other postings with this message in the archives,
but none were helpful. I am tempted to blow away the whole thing
and do a clean install of 4.0d. It seems that people are split on
this issue, so I will not even bother asking. If anyone has an
idea about the halt code, I would like to hear it.
Thanks,
Brett Maruyama
