On one of my DU 4.0D boxes, netstat -an gives "no namelist."
I vaguely remember this error message as being due to the misuse
of the Fortran NAMELIST statement. However,

    - netstat is the same as on other DU 4.0D boxes (so sayeth
      cksum and sum), and on the other boxes netstat works;
    - it does this under as vanilla an environment as I can make;
    - I imagine netstat is written in C, or Alpha assembler, or
      Bliss or somesuch, not Fortran.
