Has anyone been successful upgrading from Enterprise Server 2.1 to 3.5.1
running DU4.0d? To be specific, our secure server (which is now forced to
to use LDAP to authenticate users, because our DB is > 15,000 users) seems to
be using more the 90% of the CPU, yet it is only serving 1/10 of our customers.
Using "top" the CPU states fluxuate between 45-55% user and the same for system,
leaving 0 idle.
I have DNS turned off, KeepAliveTimeout and MaxKeepAliveConnections
both set to 0, RqThrottle set to 512 (way above what is needed). I have also
spent some time in the "tuning for Web Servers" site of Digital, and have not
come up with anything. Please, if anyone has tripped across something similar,
let me know.
