Hi there,

I am trying to use a HP 4C Scanner on a DEC 3000 running DU 3.2 g . The
problem now is that I cannot access it via /dev/rrz1a, I get the same
errors as if there were no device present (e.g. scu tells me "scu: Unable
to open device '/dev/rrz1a', ENXIO (6) - No such device or address"),
although when I am in the Console mode there is a device in "show dev"
called JKA100. Is there any other possibility to use the scanner or what
else am I doing wrong (any generic scsi devices or something like that)?

Christoph
