Duh... every now and then I actually do my own digging. After I wrote this message to the list, I found out how to prevent user ejection of a mounted Jaz drive: use the ddr_config command after adding an entry for the Jaz drive, like so:
SCSIDEVICE
    #
    # Entry for the SCSI Iomega Jaz drives
    #
    Type = disk
    Name = "iomega" "jaz"
    #
    PARAMETERS:
 TypeSubClass        = floppy_3.5
 DynamicGeometry     = true
 TagQueueDepth       = 0
 CMD_PreventAllow    = supported
This is basically a copy of the Zip drive entry. Curiously, the entry claims that this is a RX25 drive, but a quick search of the Businesslink database indicates there's no such device. Does anybody know what's going on here? Is the RX25 a figment of that author's imagination?
