ASE uninstall

WE are currently trying to upgrade a DEC3000 -500 running Digital UNIX
3.2C (and yes I know it would look better as a boat anchor) to 4.0.

On running the installupdate script I am getting the message that I need
to uninstall the ASE software. This is not needed as it hasn't been
rigged as part of an ASE environment for some time and I would like to
know how to eradicate this from the system.

Answers please on the back of an email to me at
paul.wratten_at_southmark.co.nz

Thanks in advance
Paul
