2 processor DEC 4620 Running 4.0D, anyone doing that?

We have been having some severe problems running 2 processors on an old DEC
4620. The problem manifests itself as:

_panic_string: 0xfffffc00004dd060 = "system-fatal machine check"
I/O - F-Bus DMA Parity Error

and the system crashes and reboots.

We have applied software patches to no avail, as well as swapped almost every
piece of hardware in the system as well as changing chassis (ie. backplane).
The call is being escalated to engineering, but meanwhile if anyone out there
is sucessfully running two processors in any DEC 4620, I would appreciate
hearing from you, or if anyone is having similar problems I would like to know
that too.

The system is very stable with only one processor enabled, we only have
problems when we enable CPU 1.

Thanks!!
