Mitch Bertone seems to be the winning entry on my DLT2000XT troubles with
digital unix. Digital confirmed that they don't support the 15/30gig XT
drive. The solution was to move the DLT drive to a 533MHz Alpha running
RH Linux connected over switched 100-baseT to the alphaserver that the DLT
had been on (which is pretty much as good as dumping it locally). I
didn't try contacting Quantum or other 3rd parties to see if they had any
kind of support for the DLT2000XT, since putting the drive on the linux
alpha is an entirely satisfactory solution for us.
