swap/crash dump question

Hi,

I would like to get some opinions of size of swap file for crash dumps.
It is my understanding,
atleast in earlier versions of DU, that the swap file had to be 1 time
the memory, on the
system disk (not sure if it had to be in partition b) to write a
complete crash dump.

These days, 1 time the memory could be very large. Is this still the
case in later versions
of DU? Specifically running DU 4.0b at the moment.

thanks,
Allan
