SUMMARY: dxaccounts lockfile

Many thanks to all who replied: Jim Harm, Ken Krueger, Matt Moore, Tom
Webster, Martin Rxnde and Declan Lennon.

The lockfile is called /etc/.AM_is_running, and deleting it cured my
problem.
