equivalent to "rdump" for AdVFS?

Is there any recommended way of backing up a remote AdvFS fileset since there isn't an equivalent vdump command to the "rdump"? Should I just NFS mount and be done with it? POLYCENTER NeWorker Save and Restore is not an option because of the license cost.
