terminal is disabled - cannot login to console

Managers,

  When we kicked in C2 security and failed to log in correctly from the
console over 5 times we had been locked out of it.

  I thought that I could revert back to base security (which allowed my to
once again log into console) then back to C2, it remembered the console was
locked and still wouldn't let me back in.

  Does anyone have the solution? I saw that Jim Fischer
<jfischer_at_ziplink.net>
had the exact same problem, but I didn't see a summary posted to the list.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as I don't feel like reinstalling the
OS (although there wouldn't be a great deal of loss, I just installed it!).
 I'd like to know and add it to my list of gotchas :)

Thanks,
Damien.
