    Managers,

A colleague of mine has an AS500/500 with a PowerStorm 4D60T running DU 4.0b
and Multimedia Services V2.2. He recently received the new DEC 24" monitor.

DEC's Web page states:

> The PowerStorm 4D60T ... Support for 1920 x 1200 resolution with our new
> 24-inch (22.5-inch viewable) monitor delivers incredible detail in
> rendering complex scenes.

I am trying to get this "incredible detail". The best I have been able to do
is 1600x1200 by editing /usr/var/X11/Xserver.conf to include

> ! Cateye Server args start
> -pn -nice -2 -bs -su -screen 1600x1200
> ! Cateye Server args end

If it is relevant, this is what kern.log reports at boot:

> vmunix: ingr0: Attached 4D60T.3.0.70.0xd FB.0.0.62.20.128.8 TP.64.1_at_2Mx8

Can I get better than 1600x1200 resolution with this hardware? How?

I will be glad to summarize any suggestions.
