Thanks for all the responses,

My original message was:

QUESTION:
Is there a shareware program that will allow me to access the
CDE from
Win 95 or NT?

------------

I really wanted to find a shareware X Server to access the CDE. I
decided to try the MicroImages free X Server. (MI/X) You can get the
program at http://www.microimages.com/freestuf/mix/

You need to download 2 files :
file0001.bin 2248 KB (this is the source)
getme1st.exe 332 KB (download this first and once you have the source
execute it)

The installation went smoothly, once you open the X Server, it stays
idle until it receives a request to display information. (e.g. A Unix
System somewhere sets its display to point to where the XServer is at.
In my case I had the X Server at a Win 95 machine.) If at the Unix
server you execute an X application, the server will send the display to
your X Server.
