I just obtained an ATL P-1000 jukebox with two Quantum DLT-7000 drives.
Having configured NSR earlier yesterday and labeling the available tapes
using nsrjb, I attempted to do a backup last night. However, NSR had
problems writing to the tapes. Here's an extract from the daemon.log
file:

I tried relabeling the tapes this morning and manually running a backup
using nwbackup. I, again, received similar errors. Being a "newbie" to
the NSR utility and to DLT tape drives, I wonder if anyone has encountered
similar problems. Does one have to configure the Quantum drive in the
ddr.dbase file to look like a TZ89? Is there special I should be
doing when labeling the tapes using the "nsrjb -L" command
Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.
