Hello there,
We recently received an alphaserver 4100 with Digital UNIX 4.0C
installed. While trying to boot I got the following error.
INIT: Command is respawing too rapidly. Check for possible errors.
id: cons "/usr/sbin/getty console console vt100"
I checked the SRM console and saw that it was set to graphics mode.
I can get into single user mode but I cannot mount any file systems.
right now I'm in a hole and I think I need a long rope.
