syslog error: No remote forwarding configured

Hi,

I've recently installed 4.0D on an AlphaStation 255 (was previously
running 4.0B). Since the upgrade I've failed to persuade a Telebit
Netblazer to send log messages to syslogd on the alpha. This
previously worked fine.

Running syslogd with -d reveals:

got a message (1, 0x10)
No remote forwarding configured, message discarded.

What does it mean?
