Can't open display :0.0

Hi,

What might have happened if root receives the following messages when
trying to launch dtterm in CDE:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
Error: Can't open display :0.0

While a dtterm previously started still alive.
