As usual, I knew the answers, I just didn't sit and think about it long
enough. To boot into single-user mode, >> BOOT -FL S or
BOOT_OSFLAGS S for it to default into single-user.
They also reminded me that the graphical install did ask me for the root
password. I started the install Friday and left it to finish up over
night. I'd forgotten the password by this morning, so I just reset it
today. Thanks!!!
