Hi all, I am trying to get terminal lockout to work on V4.0B. User
account lockout works ok with u_numunsuclog being updated as expected
but terminal lockout does not.
If I use dxdevices to modify, say ttyp4, so that the t_maxtries is 3,
and then
telnet in with invalid passwords ( same,different users does not matter)
the ,terminal does not get locked out as I would expect it to. This
seems
to be because t_failures is not being updated in the tty.db file as
edauth -dt -g ttyp4
shows. So the terminal never gets locked out. If, however, I manually
set
t_failures > t_maxtries then the terminal is locked out for logins.
Is there something missing?
