System Security

Greetings Everyone - I am new to the list, and unfortunately short on OSF basics,
but working hard at learning more about it..

We are trying to protect our OSF servers from intrusions, password guessers, etc.
In particular, I'd like to limit the login IP addresses of certain userid's that have the
'SU' capability. For example, I'd like 'turgut' to only login from tk-os2.ege.edu.tr (my
PC). Is there an easy way to establish that - btw, we have Digital Unix 3.2.

Our system is running on 'regular' security, and 'Enhanced Security' sounds good -
But I am warned by a colleague that if we switch it to 'Enhanced' security, all
passwords would expire right away, and we would have to phone several
thousand people to notify them of their new passwords! Not a very pleasant
thought :)

Perhaps what I need is an OSF security primer :) Is there a FAQ for lost souls?
Thanks everyone!

-turgut
