Merging old and new documentation?

Upgrade from DEC UNIX 4.0B to 4.0D changed the documentation
structure. The new html-documents are now in a different location
than previously.

Question: is there a tool (or other automatic method) to merge the two
different documentation directory trees? Old:
/usr/share/doclib/online/DOCUMENTATION and new:
/usr/share/doclib/online/DOCS.

Or does the new documentation make the old totally obsolete, hence, the
old can be safely deleted?

No, I haven't read through every and all pages to detect possible
changes ;-).
