Installing DU40B system on RAID5 - Pros & Cons?

Hi managers,

Are there any reasons why I shouldn´t put the system on a RAID5?.
     Configuration: (AS800, DU4.0B, 128MB, RAID-controller, 4 * 9GB in
RAID5)

I´m getting "hard error" when initializing XCR0 during unix boot from
RAID5. (DU4.0b install went fine)

Any suggestions??
