Jumper on? error during firmware upgrade

Hello,

I am trying to perform a firmware upgrade on a VX40B-F2 multia using the
axppci33_v1_6 firmware version. When I execute the srm or arc firmware
update command , I get the following messages:

Apu-I VERIFY LOADED ROM IMAGE
0x52400
Apu-I LOADED ROM IMAGE VERIFY

Apu-E ROM DEVICE JUMPER ON?

This final error message seems to tell me that I need to enable a
motherboard jumper to allow such an update, but which one exactly I do not
know. The documentation which I was able to download (thanks to a search
of the ornl archives) really did not really give a full layout of all
jumper locations and its corresponding functions, other than video/ cpu
jumper settings.

Just to be sure, I tried using both the V3.8 CD-ROM and a floppy diskette
(with files downloaded from DEC's website), using both SRM and ARC
methods, but still no luck - same error message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,
-JPP
