Dear Managers,
Lots of fast responses on the 9 Gig drive question. Respondents
universally agreed that 9G drives work in a 3000/600. Other comments:
Alan Rollow (alan_at_nabeth.cxo.dec.com) - DEC didn't qualify 9G drives because
they were unavailable when the 3000's went into maintenance mode.
Scott Skeate (scott.b.skeate_at_lmco.com) - 3000/600's don't have wide
SCSI (I noted this in the post, but 9G's without wide SCSI are
available).
Thanks also to
Harvey Rarback (rarback_at_cars3.uchicago.edu)
Gyula Szokoly (szgyula_at_tarkus.pha.jhu.edu)
Steve McLaughlin (mclaughl_at_milkyway.gsfc.nasa.gov)
No responses as yet on the MH question.
